Funding for the Alabama Airport Economic and Infrastructure Program may come from the State General Fund and shall be appropriated to the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs, to be operated and managed through an intergovernmental agreement with the department. No funds earmarked to the Department of Transportation shall be used for this program.(Act 2022-180, §5.)
