(a) The Mobile County Commission is hereby allowed, at their discretion, to pay the circuit court clerk, the County Administrator of Estates, and the Register of the Circuit Court of Mobile County, Alabama, Thirteenth Judicial Circuit, State of Alabama, an expense allowance in the amount of two hundred fifty dollars ($250) per month, beginning in 1984.(b) The expense allowance, if allowed at the county commission’s discretion, shall be in addition to all compensation or salary supplement heretofore payable to such officers.
