Section 45-5-71 - Appropriations from General Fund

(a) The Blount County Commission may appropriate from the county general fund an amount not exceeding two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) for each fiscal year, for a contingent fund to be used for any purpose the commission may deem appropriate.(b) Any funds appropriated for a fiscal year which remain unexpended at the end of the fiscal year shall revert to the county general fund.(Act 80-710, p. 1444, §1; Act 2007-244, p. 329, §1.)
