The position of county commissioner of Blount County shall be a full-time position. Such commissioner shall receive compensation for serving as full-time officers in accordance with the minimum allowable by state law. The chairman of the county commission shall not be considered a county commissioner for the purposes of this section.(Act 85-620, p. 946, §1; Act 87-446, p. 660, §1.)
