Commencing with the next term of office of the member elected in 1996, each member of the Montgomery County Board of Education shall receive a salary of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) per year in lieu of all other compensation, salaries, and expense allowances. The compensation shall be paid from funds allocated to the Montgomery County Board of Education. (Act 96-595, p. 940, § 1.)
