REPEALED BY ACT 2024-337, EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2025.In any matter requiring the services of an attorney, the personnel board may call upon the county or city attorney of any such county or city to render such legal services to the board as it may deem necessary or advisable, or the board may employ independent counsel and the compensation of such independent counsel shall be paid as other employees of the board are paid.
