Section 45-52-71 - Contingent Fund

(a) The Morgan County Commission may appropriate from the county general fund an amount not exceeding twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1980, for a contingent fund to be used for such purposes as the commission may deem appropriate, and thereafter to appropriate annually from the county general fund an amount not exceeding fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) to the contingent fund to be used for such purposes as the commission may deem appropriate.(b) Any funds appropriated for a fiscal year which remain unexpended at the end of such fiscal year shall revert to the county general fund.
