(a) In Pickens County, it shall be unlawful for anyone to have in his or herpossession any quantity of alcoholic liquors and beverages. Exempted from this section is the possession, sale,purchase, and prescription dispensation ofalcohol by pharmacists and physicians in accordance with the general law of thestate.(b) Any person convicted of violating this section shallbe guilty of a ClassC misdemeanor.(Act 83–681, p. 1070, §§ 1, 2.)
