Upon successfully completing the minimum standards of training and otherrequirements for law enforcement officers of the Peace Officers’ Standards andTraining Commission, a community corrections officer employed by the CommunityPunishment and Corrections Authority of the 24th Judicial Circuit, operating inPickens County, shall have the same law enforcement powers, including powers ofarrest, as granted to law enforcement officers of this state.
