(a) In Pickens County, any real estate deed, presented forfiling and recording in the office of the judge of probate, shall contain, onthe face of the instrument, the name and complete address of the person to whomthe ad valorem tax notice on the real estate should be delivered by the taxingauthorities of the county. The form of the statementshall be substantially as follows:'Ad valorem tax notice, regarding the subject realestate, should be delivered to:'NAME____________________________________________'FULL ADDRESS___________________________________'(b) The judge of probate shall refuse to accept for filingand recording any instrument which does not comply with this section.(c) Failure to comply with this section by the judge of probate, his or heragents, servants, or employees, or any otherperson, shall be construed to be a ministerial failure and shall in nowise affect the validity of the real estate deed involved; nor shall the failure impose any civil orcriminal liability on the judge of probate, his or her agents, servants, oremployees.(Act 83–543, p. 842, §§ 1–3.)
