The City Council of the City of Reform in Pickens County may providethat the positions of city clerk, police chief, and fire chief shall bepermanent positions subject to removal only from just cause after thecompletion of a satisfactory probation period as determined by the citycouncil.(Act 99–246, p. 324, § 1.)
