Section 45-55-170 - Enforcement of Statutes Prohibiting Illegal Dumping of Waste

All Pike Countylaw enforcement officersand all municipal law enforcementofficers within Pike County are authorized and empowered to enforce the statestatutes prohibiting the illegal dumping of waste. The enforcement powers shall be supplemental to, and shall beauthorized to the same extent as, the enforcement powers of local healthauthorities of Pike County with respect to the enforcement of the statutes.(Act 84–532, p. 1153, § 1.)
