The procedure for redeeming lands for taxes in PikeCounty shall be the same as provided in Article 5, commencing with Section40–10–120, of Chapter 10, Title 40, except that the duties required of andperformed by the judge of probate shall be transferred to and be performed bythe tax collector or revenue commissioner of the county, and the judge ofprobate shall be relieved of the duties.(Act 95–419, p. 909, § 2.)
