In each civil and criminalcase filed in any court in Pike County, there shallbe taxed as cost the sum of two dollars ($2).The costs taxed under this section shall be collected as other costs insuch cases are collected, and when collected by the clerks or other collectingofficers of the courts, including the clerkand register of the circuitcourt, shall be remitted to the countytreasury and deposited and kept in a special fund to be known as thejuvenile court fund and to be expended in furtherance of the purposes of thejuvenile court in the county. Thecounty governing body may make expenditures from the fund upon requisition ofthe chief juvenile probation officer of the county to carry out the purposesand provisions of this section.(Act 80–255, p. 331, § 1.)
