In Pike County, in addition to any court costs andfees now or hereafter authorized, there shall be an additional twenty-fivedollar ($25) fee assessed and taxed as costs on each civil case and anadditional fifty dollar ($50) fee assessed on each criminal case, includingtraffic cases, filed in the circuit court, district court, or any municipalcourt in Pike County, as well as a fee not to exceed five dollars ($5) for theservice of all pleadings and other documents in connection with any action orcase. The aforementioned fees shallnot be waived by any court unless all other fees, assessments, costs, fines,and charges associated with the cases are waived. The additional fees, when collected by the clerks or othercollection officers of the courts, shall be paid into the General Fund of PikeCounty to be used for general county purposes.(Act 95–427, p. 922, § 1.)
