The purpose of the subpart is to facilitate the use ofpublic records in property transactions in Pike County by providing for theinstallation of an improved system of recording, archiving, and retrievinginstruments and documents affecting the title to real and personal propertythat are recorded in the office of the judge of probate, and for the recording,archiving, and retrieving of other instruments, documents, and other uses inthe discretion of the judge ofprobate.(Act 2003–155, p. 458, § 1.)
