§ 45-56-70-02

In any year in which the RandolphCounty Commissioners are to be electedat the general election, the county commission shall be prohibited fromentering into any long-term contract within six months prior to the generalelection, except in emergency situationswhere the county could not function effectively withouta contract. For purposes of this section,long-term contract means acontract for longer than 180 days.(Act 2002–455, p. 1169, § 1.)
