(a) In all juvenile, traffic, criminal, and quasi-criminal casesin the juvenile, district, circuit, and municipal courts in RandolphCounty, a docket fee, hereinafter referred to as a solicitor’s fee, shall beassessed in each case. The fees, whencollected, shall be distributed monthly to the Solicitor’s Fund or DistrictAttorney’s Fund in the county where the fee is collected or to the fund that may be hereafter prescribed bylaw for the solicitor’s fee. Thesolicitor’s fee shall be in an amount equal to all docket fees or court costswhich are assessed upon an adjudication of guilt in a criminal case anddistributed to the Fair Trial Tax Fund. Threedollars ($3) of each fee when collected may be retained by the clerk of thecourt as an administrative fee to be used to pay for the operation of theclerk’s office.(b) The solicitor’s fee shall be collected in all criminal cases where thedefendant is adjudged guilty, a bond forfeited, a penalty imposed, or wherethere is issued any alias or capias warrant of arrest. The solicitor’s fee shall be in addition to and not in lieu ofany other fees or costs.
