§ 45-56-83-20

In Randolph County,the county commission may impose a special recording fee of up to four dollars ($4)to be paid to the county, and collected by the judge of probate, on each real property instrument and each personalproperty instrument that may be filed for record in the probate officeand for the recording of other instruments and documents in the probate office. The special recording fee shall be inaddition to all other fees, taxes, and other charges required by general law tobe paid upon the filing for record of any real property instruments or personalproperty instruments and for the recording of other instruments and documentsin the probate office. All specialrecording fees collected shall be deposited on a monthly basis in the countygeneral fund by the judge of probate and shall be used for general countypurposes.(Act 81–938, 1st Sp.
