Section 45-57-11 - Office Allowances for Certain Officers

(a) All fees, commissions, allowances, percentages, andother charges heretofore collected for the use of the Judge of Probate, Tax Assessor, and Tax Collector ofRussell County, shall hereafter be collected and paid into the general fund ofthe county.(b) The Russell County Commission shall provide each of the officers withthe necessary quarters, books, stationery, office equipment, supplies, postage, and other conveniences and equipment for the properand efficient conduct of the affairs of their offices.(c) The Russell County Commission shall provide each of the officers annualallowances for the purpose of hiring clerks or assistants in an amount as is deemedappropriate by the commission.
