(a) The Russell County Board of Education shall be composedof seven members elected as follows: (1) One membershall be elected from each of the board of education districts hereinafterdescribed and shall be a qualified elector thereof, and shall reside in thedistrict. Members representing thesix districts shall be elected by the qualified electors residing in each ofthe districts, and no others shall be allowed to vote in the elections.(2) One membershall be elected from the county at large and shall be elected by the qualifiedelectors of the county who reside outside the corporate limits of Phenix City.(b) Places on the RussellCounty Board of Education shall be as follows:(1) Place numberone shall be a member elected from the district comprised of Ladonia, Beat 1,Boxes 10 and 11.(2) Place number two shallbe a member elected from the district comprised of Ladonia, Beat 1,Boxes 10 and 11.(3) Place number three shallbe the member elected from the district-comprised of Crawford, Dixie,and Uchee, Beats 2, 3, and 4. (4) Place number four shall be the number electedfrom the district comprised of Hurtsboro,Hatchechubbee

(c) The member in place numberone shall be elected at the generalelection in November of 1984, and every six years thereafter; place number two shall be elected at thegeneral election in November 1982, for a term of four years, and every sixyears thereafter; place number threeshall be elected at the general election in November 1982, and every six yearsthereafter; place number four shallbe elected at the general election in November 1986, and every six yearsthereafter; place number five shallbe elected at the general election in November 1986, and every six yearsthereafter; place number six shall be elected at the generalelection
