§ 45-57-111

In Russell County, the county commission may increasethe compensation of election officials who work at polling places in such anamount as will, together with any amount paid by the state, make the total paidto such officials at least sixty dollars ($60) for each day they work at thepolls. The expense allowance providedfor in this section shall be paid from the general fund of the county. (Act 91–312, p. 572, § 1.)
