03Applying for Special Permit.(a) A qualified organization or club which does not hold a permit, pursuantto Section 45–57–150.02, may applyfor a special permit for conducting a bingosession at a designated location for a special occasion. The applicant shall submit to the sheriff a written application prepared in accordance with and on a form prescribed by rule of thesheriff. The application for aspecial permit shall include the information required by subsection (b) ofSection 45–57–150.02, except that the applicant shall indicate the day or dayson which the applicant will conductthe bingo sessionfor the specialoccasion not to exceed oneday per quarter per organization or club. Uponthe sheriff determining that the applicant is a qualified organization or club,except that a special permit holder shall not be required to own or leaseproperty five years prior to making application for a special permit, and isnot ineligible pursuant to Section 45–57–150.12, and upon the applicant’spayment of the required fee under this subsection to the office of sheriff,the sheriff may issuea special permit. ermit, and isnot ineligible pursuant to Section 45–57–150.12, and upon the applicant’spayment of the required fee under this subsection to the office of sheriff,the sheriff may issuea special permit. (c) No more than one special permit may be issued to the same qualifiedorganization or qualified club per quarter,not to exceed four per year. (d) Special permitsare not transferable or assignable.
