§ 45-57-234

The pistol permit fee in Russell County shall be a total of twentydollars ($20) which shall be collected by the sheriff. Five dollars ($5) of the fee shall be deposited in the generalfund of the county, and fifteen dollars ($15) of the fee shall be deposited ina special fund or account of the county treasury, five dollars ($5) of whichshall be used by the sheriff at his or her discretion for law enforcementpurposes and ten dollars ($10) of which shall be earmarked for training ofdeputies.
