01Salary and Expense Allowance of Judge of Probate.(a) Beginning on the first day of the first month next followingthe salary of the Judge of Probate of Russell Countyshall be forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000), payable in equal monthly installments from the countytreasury. (b)(1) Commencing on November 1, 2013, the Judge of Probate of RussellCounty shall receive an additional expense allowance in the amount of tenthousand dollars ($10,000) per annum, which shall be in addition to all otherexpense allowances, compensation, or salary provided by law. This expense allowance shall be payable inequal monthly installments from the general fund of the county. (2) Beginning with the expiration of the term of theincumbent judge of probate, the annual salary for the Judge of Probate ofRussell County shall be increased by ten thousanddollars ($10,000) per annum, payablein equal monthly installmentsfrom the general fund of the county and at that time, subsection (a) shallbecome null and void. The salaryprovided by this subsection shall be the total compensation of the judge ofprobate and shall be in lieu of any other compensation, salary, or expenseallowance currently ecome null and void.
