01Definitions.(a) As used in this part, unlessthe context requiresa different meaning, the following terms shall havethe following meanings: (1) BOARD. The board of trusteesof the fund. (2) CITY. The municipality of Phenix City. (3) FIREFIGHTER. Any regular full-time member of the fire department of the city. (4) FUND. The Fireman’s and Policeman’s Pensionand Relief Fund created by this part. (5) PERSON. Includes association, corporation, firm, or partnership. (6) POLICEMAN. Any regular full-timemember of the police department of the city. (b) The singular number includesthe plural, and the plural the singular. The masculine gender includesthe feminine and the neuter.
