The entire amount of the fee levied pursuant to this section shall be distributed to the sheriff’s fund to be used at the discretion of the sheriff. The twenty dollars ($20) fee shall be in lieu of all other pistol permit fees required by law.(Act 97-523, p. 918, §1.)
