§ 45-6-82-21

(a) This section shall apply only in Bullock County. (b)(1) A special recording fee of ten dollars ($10) shall be charged and collected by the judge of probate for each document or instrument recorded in the office of the judge of probate. No document or instrument shall be received for record in the office of the judge of probate unless the special recording fee is paid. This fee shall be in addition to any other fee collected by the judge of probate.(2) The special recording fees collected shall be deposited into a special account to be used by the judge of probate for the operation of the office of the judge of probate, including the purchase of upgrades of equipment, including computer equipment, for operation of the recording system, and for training of employees.(c) An additional tag issuance fee of four dollars ($4) shall be charged and collected by the judge of probate for each motor vehicle license tag issued or renewed by the office of the judge of probate. No motor vehicle license tag shall be issued or renewed in the office of the judge of probate unless the tag issuance fee is paid.
