In Chambers County, all laws, rules, and regulations to the contrary notwithstanding, upon request by a property owner, the county health department or its agent shall perform soil percolation tests for a fee of not more than fifty dollars ($50) which such tests are required for septic tank installation purposes.(Act 83-634, p. 984, §1.)
