The District Attorney of the Fifth Judicial Circuit shall be entitled to travel allowances in like amounts as are now provided by law to the circuit judges of the judicial circuit. Payment of these expenses are chargeable to and shall be paid from any funds accessible to the district attorney for the operation of his or her office.(Act 79-91, p. 114, §1.)
