Section 6-5-600 - Definitions

Any public or private utility, any telephone company, or telephone business, and any utility or other entity which is owned or operated by a municipality, electric power board, gas board, utilities board, county improvement authority, power district, or other governmental entity which is engaged in providing electricity, natural gas, water, sewer, garbage, telecommunication, or satellite services, or any combination thereof for sale to consumers.(2) UTILITY SERVICES. The products, commodities, and services provided by a utility to its customers.
