Section 6-5-708 - Accrual of Action

This article shall only apply to a cause of action which accrues after April 24, 2012. The amendatory provisionsof Act 2023-316 shall only apply to causes ofaction which accrue after August 1, 2023. Pursuant to this article, a cause of action accrues at the time of property damage or the occurrence of the personal injury or death that is made the basis of the civil action.(Act 2012-225, p. 414, §10; Act 2023-316, §1.)
