Section 6-9-258 - Commencement of Action

An action to recognize a foreign-country judgment must be commenced within the later of the time during which the foreign-country judgment is effective in the foreign country or 5 years from the date that the foreign-country judgment became final, conclusive, and enforceable in the foreign country.(Act 2012-470, p. 1296, §9.)
