Section 8-15-47 - Risk of Loss or Damage to Personal Property

Unless the rental agreement specifically provides otherwise and until a lien sale is conducted under Section 8-15-46, the exclusive care, custody, and control of all personal property stored in a leased space remains vested in the occupant, and the occupant shall bear all risks of loss or damage to that personal property.(Act 2021-183, §1.)
