Section 9-11-234 - Hunting, Etc

, of Protected Birds or Animals on State or Federal Game Sanctuaries or Refuges.It shall be unlawful for any person to hunt, take, catch or kill or to attempt to hunt, take, catch or kill any bird or animal protected by the game laws or regulations of this state on any land in the State of Alabama which is designated as a state or federal game sanctuary or refuge. Any violation of this section shall constitute a misdemeanor, and any one convicted for the violation of any of the provisions of this section shall be punished by a fine of not less than $250.00 nor more than $500.00, the amount of which fine shall be fixed, determined and imposed by the judge of the court presiding at the trial of any case brought under the provisions of this section.
