In AS 18.65.670 - 18.65.688, (1) 'Alaska Native organization' means an organization listed in AS 47.27.070(a); (2) 'commissioner' means the commissioner of public safety; (3) 'crime involving domestic violence' has the meaning given in AS 18.66.990; (4) 'department' means the Department of Public Safety; (5) 'marijuana' has the meaning given in AS 11.71.900; (6) 'village' means a community with a population less than 2,500 based on the most recent federal census.
