(a) Federal, state, and municipal law enforcement officers may enforce the provisions of this chapter and regulations adopted under this chapter. (b) A person who violates this chapter, or a regulation adopted under this chapter, is punishable, upon conviction, for each offense by a fine of not more than $500, or by imprisonment for not more than six months, or by both.
