In AS 21.27.630 - 21.27.660, (1) 'insurer' includes the Comprehensive Health Insurance Association created under AS 21.55.010 and any person issued or required to obtain a certificate of authority under this title to transact life insurance, annuities, and health insurance or to provide coverage for the cost of medical care; (2) 'transact' has the meaning given in AS 21.97.900.
