§ 21-45-290

In determining the amount due under a life insurance policy, whether issued before or after July 1, 1966, deduction may be made of (1) unpaid premiums or installments for the current policy year due under the terms of the policy; and of (2) the amount of principal and accrued interest of a policy loan or other indebtedness against the policy then remaining unpaid.
