(a) Notwithstanding the provisions of AS 44.62.560, orders of the commission may not be appealed to the superior court. Consistent with AS 22.05.010(b), final decisions of the commission may be appealed to the supreme court, and other orders may be reviewed by the supreme court as provided by the Alaska Rules of Appellate Procedure. (b) A finding by the commission concerning the weight to be accorded a witness's testimony, including medical testimony and reports, is conclusive even if the evidence is conflicting or susceptible to contrary conclusions. The commission's findings of fact may be reversed on appeal if not supported by substantial evidence in light of the whole record.
