In this chapter and in regulations adopted under this chapter, unless the context requires otherwise, (1) 'dealer' means a person engaged in the business of buying, selling, or exchanging vehicles of a type required to be registered under this chapter and who maintains a place of business or by word of mouth, advertising, or in any other manner represents to be in the business of buying, selling, or exchanging vehicles; (2) 'manufactured home' has the meaning given in AS 45.29.102; (3) 'vehicle' includes mobile homes for the purposes of provisions relating to certificates of title; in this paragraph, 'mobile home' means a manufactured home.
