(a) A person may not rent a room in a hotel, motel, resort, or similar business for the purpose of providing alcoholic beverages to a person under the age of 21 years. (b) A person who knowingly rents a room in a hotel, motel, resort, or similar business for the purpose of providing alcoholic beverages to a person under 21 years of age commits the crime of renting a room for the purpose of providing alcoholic beverages to a person under 21 years of age. (c) Renting a room for the purpose of providing alcoholic beverages to a person under 21 years of age is a class A misdemeanor.
