(a) Except as provided by AS 04.16.051, a person who is physically in possession and exercising dominion and control over a dwelling may not knowingly permit a person under 21 years of age to possess an alcoholic beverage in the dwelling. (b) A person who violates this section is guilty of a violation and is punishable by a fine of $500.
