In AS 44.33.240 - 44.33.275, (1) 'child care facility' means an establishment the principal purpose of which is to provide care for children not related by blood, marriage, or legal adoption, including but not limited to day care centers, family day care homes, and schools for preschool age children; (2) 'department' means the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development.
