§ 45-50-070

(a) Registration of a mark is effective for a term of five years from the date of registration. Upon application filed within six months before the expiration of the term in a manner complying with the requirements of the commissioner, the registration may be renewed for an additional term of five years. (b) An application for renewal of a registration must include a signed statement that the mark has been used and is still in use. Three specimens showing actual use of the mark on or in connection with the goods or services shall be submitted with the renewal application.
