(a) The following persons are authorized to enforce the provisions of this chapter: (1) a state employee authorized by the commissioner; and (2) a peace officer. (b) The department shall prescribe a citation form, which shall be used by all peace officers and persons in the state who are authorized to enforce the provisions of this chapter. The citation form must meet the requirements of AS 12.25.175 - 12.25.230.
