§ 06-05-090

(a) The check of a depositor may not be certified unless the amount of the check actually stands to the credit of the drawer. (b) Any check certified is a valid obligation against the bank when held by an innocent holder. (c) [Repealed, § 102 ch 26 SLA 1993.]
