(a) A member of the board of directors or a member of the credit committee or supervisory committee or an employee of a credit union may not participate in the deliberation or the determination of a question affecting the person's own pecuniary interest or the pecuniary interest of a corporation, partnership, or association in which the person is interested. (b) A person who violates (a) of this section may not thereafter serve as an officer, agent, or employee of a credit union.
