The board may provide for the licensing without examination of a dental hygienist who (1) meets the criteria of AS 08.32.014; (2) submits proof of continued competence as specified in regulations adopted by the board; (3) is currently licensed to practice dental hygiene in another state or territory of the United States; and (4) pays the fees established under AS 08.01.065.
