(a) A person who violates a provision of this chapter or a regulation adopted under this chapter for which a penalty is not otherwise provided is guilty of a class B misdemeanor. (b) Notwithstanding AS 08.01.075(a)(8), the board may impose a civil fine not to exceed $25,000 for each violation of this chapter or a regulation adopted under this chapter.
